Beef & Black Bean Sauce

Ingredients

rump beef steak 560g, fat trimmed, thinly sliced
red oinion 1, thinly sliced
garlic clove 1, crushed
fresh ginger 2 tsp, finely chopped
cornflour 1tsp
asia at home black Bean Stir fry sauce, 1/3 cup
soy sauce 2 tbs
sugar 1 tsp
beef stock 1/4 cup, made with stock cube
baby bok choy 2, thinly sliced
steamed white rice 2 cups to serve

How To

1. Spray a non stick wok or frying pan with oil. Heat over medium - high heat. Add half the beef and stir-fry for 2 minutes or until well browned. Repeat with remaining beef. Transfer beef and any liquid to a bowl.

2. Spray a heated wok with oil. Add onion and stir fry for 2 minutes. Add garlic and ginger and stir fry for 1 minute.

3. Mix cornflour with 2 tablespoons of water. Return beef and any liquid to the pan with black bean sauce, soy sauce, sugar, stock and cornflour paste. Stir-fry until sauce thickens. Add bok choy. Stir-fry for 2 minutes or until wilted. Serve with Steamed rice.
