Macadamia & Pecan Pie

Ingredients

180g Plain Sweet Biscuits
125g Reduced-Fat Butter – Melted
100g Unsalted Macadamia Nuts
50g Pecans
3 Eggs – Lightly Beaten
½ Cup Skim Milk
¼ Cup Honey

Cooking Instructions

1. Whizz the biscuits in a food processor until finely ground. Add the melted butter and mix well. press into the base and sides of a 23cm pie plate.

2. Refrigerate until firm – Approx. 15minutes.

3. Preheat the over to 180, 160 for fan forced. Arrange the macadamis and pecans over the base of the prepared pie base. beat together the eggs, milk and honey.

4. Pour over the nuts and bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until firm and golden.


QUICK TIP: If you’re making this for a party treat and don’t want to be left with the rest of the pie, cut it up first, only put out what you’ll need and freeze the left overs. That way you have a special treat for another time and you won’t have to worry about blowing your points for the day!
